Out and about over the holiday period

Anyone who knows me can tell you I love lights. Musta been a moth in a previous life-time. I am just drawn to them. Here are a few snap shots of places in London over the festive period with some fantastic lights on show.

This one was outside the Marriott Hotel not far from Southbank Centre. James spotted an amazing red colour and I made sure we went to investigate. For some reason they were celebrating the Wizard of Oz and they had this stunning display set up.

The Southbank Centre had more delights to be observed. They currently have an exhibition on at the moment called Intrude by and Australian artist Amanda Prarer. My only criticism is that these wonderful bunnies belonged outside, I believe they would have made a greater impact that way. They were still awesome though.

A pretty Christmas Tree at Southbank:

On Christmas Day while our dinner cooked away in the slow cooker, James and I went for a wee drive around London. Here's one of my blurry pictures I took that night. I love how haunting this looks.

And finally, my favourite of the festive season! James and I went to the magical Christmas at Kew Garden's event. It was beautiful!

Have a Happy New Year!
