Less than a month till I move to London!!!! Yikes, I had better get some money sorted and find a flat - not panicking at all...

James is back on Wednesday

It's been a strange five weeks - it has felt both fast and slow. Is that even possible? Getting up early and hitching a ride to the airport from a friend to meet him off the plane. Yay the bearded one is almost home.

In attempt to get a respite from all the panic for this big move I have been trying to do more crafty stuff but I'm super duper slow! Mastershake is still not done! I have been working on other things lately because I am sick at looking at that thing and making mistakes. It will be finished...one day.

Using a pattern by the fabulous Skunkboy Creatures featured in Mollie Makes issue 19 I made this wee guy:

James also introduced me to this cartoon called Bee and Puppycat. I hope they make more episodes. I love her attitude!

Determined to at least finish the crochet for Mastershake tonight just leaving the construction, will the lazy bum actually complete this project? Poor Colin is gonna be well disappointed in it after all the delay in his pressie. (His birthday was in February btw) dun dun dun.

Mini Crochet Master

I have stumbled upon an amazing Vietnamese family who crochet these fantastic mini crochet animals. Their prices on Etsy are pretty steep but when you see the intricate detail and the teeny, tiny size of their creations you can understand why. I wonder how long one of these little babies takes to craft? The dexterity they must possess! They must have ace eye-sight too! I'm currently struggling to see the next stitch in my second attempt at getting the very late Master Shake crochet done for my friends hugely belated birthday!

The family have named their company after the youngest in their team Su Ami - what a pretty name. I have selected my favourite works from their Etsy store to share, with the links to the listings below each image. I don't think I could ever reach this kind of level but I am happy plodding along trying to make the easy things anyway.

Mini Hobbes!

How do they even stuff them? They are just so amazing I could post these pictures all day! Check out their shop for yourself and enjoy their creations.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow! Having a nice lunch with an old flatmate and then we are going off to join the circus. Well off to watch the circus perform. I have never been to one before - pretty excited.

Have a nice weekend!

RAWR Creatures

I have a love for RAWR creatures. So much so that my boyfriend adopted one of her sock plushies for me back in March for my birthday.

My fabulous IKEA shelf with my bits n bobs

My very own RAWR creature!

I was thinking of calling her 'bug' because she has a little pink ladybug on her front. I just love the style of these RAWR creatures! They just make me smile and they are very well made. If I had the money and the room I would love to adopt some more. My favourite at the moment are her new creations the little cats, absolutely love them.

Here are some pictures of her cats:

Amazing. Check out her blog at RAWR Creatures

If I can manage to make something half as good one day I would be happy!
