Last night I hosted a poker night. It went great (apart from the lack of winning). Fantastic turn out and some good characters made the night. My friend Claire made the journey from St Andrews to join us despite having to work today. I missed her birthday recently and had no money to get her anything so on a whim I decided to give her this crochet I recently finished:

I expected her to chuck it at me but she seemed quite amused despite having wonkily spaced legs. The crochet, not Claire. She decided that despite being pink it was a he and that he should be named Ned.
It took me quite a while to make this guy as I started off doing it wrong. For a single crochet I failed to go through the two loops and only went through one. This was the result in the original Ned before I ripped it up, very nipple like:
I know the following picture is horrendous but it made me laugh:
So with a little reminder from youtube it was back to the start of the pattern
I now want to make her a boob hat... wonder if I can find a pattern for that haha!
