Visit to the vet

Poor Yoshi has been acting weird lately. Peeing in the weirdest places: in the tumble dryer on clean clothes; on any open boxes/bags; anything on the floor; and then on Tuesday night he peed in the bath. That's when we spotted blood in his urine. Did the most frightening thing you can do for anything related to health - I googled his symptoms! Made for some scary reading! The most of which stating that cats can die within 24 hours if not treated. So skipped uni the next day and took him to the first appointment I could get at the vets. Apparently it is quite common for cats to get bladder disorders, and if they are not treated they can die if their urethra gets blocked and the toxins have no way to escape the body. The brave wee guy got two jags and I now have three different meds and special food to give him. Purse considerably lighter but already he is back to his affectionate self and is no longer peeing in weird and wonderful places. He has been sick a few times though so need to stop one of his meds but all in all much better :) Feeling the need to buy him some awesome toys as I wasn't too kind to him when he was peeing in weird places before I realised something was wrong. Feel bad for yelling at him now. He just had no way to tell me it was sore. So glad it looks like he is going to be ok and back to his normal self!

I'm loving this fish shaped cat bowl which would look great in our kitchen that I spotted in Debenhams! As soon as I have a spare £20 (if that ever happens) gonna grab one.

All my cats on their massive cat tree! Goes all the way to the ceiling. Total bargain from zooplus. For the same price in my local pet shop they were selling a shitty little small one :)
